1Agreement to Terms
By submitting a service request, making payment, or engaging KA Legal Services (“Service Provider”), you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms of Service.
2Services Provided
KA Legal Services provides legal support services including process serving, document delivery, and notary services (upon request). All services are performed in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
3Service Fees
- Standard Service — $100 flat fee: includes up to three (3) service attempts, with attempts made within seven (7) days of receiving documents and payment.
- Rush Service — $200 flat fee: includes up to three (3) service attempts, with the first attempt within 24–48 hours.
- Additional attempts: $50 per attempt, per request.
- Stakeout service (optional): $60/hour, one-hour minimum.
- Mileage: included within the standard service area.
4Payment Terms
- Payment is required in advance before any service attempts.
- Accepted payment methods: online portal, Zelle, Venmo, or other agreed methods.
- Services will not begin until payment is received.
5Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to provide accurate and complete address information, complete and correct legal documents, any deadlines at the time of request, and to ensure documents are ready for service upon submission. KA Legal Services is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information.
6Service Attempts
- Standard and rush services include up to three (3) attempts.
- Attempts will be made at varying times and/or days when reasonably possible.
- Additional attempts must be authorized and will incur additional fees.
7No Guarantee of Service
KA Legal Services does not guarantee successful service. We make diligent and reasonable efforts to complete service in accordance with applicable laws, but outcomes depend on factors outside our control.
8Affidavit (Proof) of Service
An Affidavit of Service will be completed and returned promptly after successful service, or after completion of all authorized service attempts.
9Document Handling
- The Client is responsible for providing all documents.
- KA Legal Services will return completed affidavits and related documentation.
- The Client is responsible for filing documents with the appropriate court.
10Limitation of Liability
KA Legal Services is not liable for incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Client, delays due to inaccurate addresses or unavailable recipients, or any court outcomes or legal proceedings.
11Service Area
Services are primarily offered within Colorado Springs and surrounding areas along the Front Range unless otherwise agreed.
12Acceptance of Terms
Submission of a service request and/or payment constitutes full acceptance of these Terms of Service.
